It feels like yesterday i did it but i am 28 now, time does really fly especially after leaving school.
So all you can do is your best, but really try as really you only get one shot at it.
And usually you will look back after the exams and realise it wasnt as hard as you thought, they make the pre's a lot harder so dont panic.

Yes! Trust me, You do!
I'm 23 and so I did my leaving cert not so long ago, I felt the exact same way but indeed I got though it!
My advice is to chill out, Relax, Study and get grinds if needed.
I studied VERY hard (I was a bit of a swot! LOL) and I'm studying languages at college now, So don't worry about it, I'm sure there's about 20,000 other people in the country that feel the same way!

And the orals after easter! When will they realise it's just TOO MUCH!!! I mean, in England they only do 3 a levels but NO we have to do 6/7 depending! And the point system is a joke! Points are bein pushed higher and higher, and there's people enterin jobs they're not suited for just because they got enough points to get in while the rest of us struggle AGGGHHHHHH!!!!! |

the leaving cert is the hardest thing i ever had to do.... and i have a degree and phd and let me tell you they were alot easier |

Oh damn what the hell am I doing on the internet!?! Damn orals right after easter, and my German is awful! Of course I'm panicking... Considering how my mocks went I have every right to panic. 10 weeks to learn 2 years of 6 subjects... dang. I'll get to it tommorow... maybe |

I did my leaving when i was 16 three years ago whic is way too young to pick what u want to do with the rest of ur lfe..wanted to do physio but the fricking points wer sky high(sumthing lik 580) now in england doin physio and loving it!where theres a will theres a way and itll always work out in the end!!NO matter what u wanna do!!Good luck with it dude! |

im doing my mocks now and they're exactly the same as the actual leaving cert. and the weren't that bad, so i have kind of chilled out about it.just make sure you've done all your study and you'll be grand |

First thing you need to do is relax, when you relax it is easier to study & retain information. Write notes, abrivate long passages, easier to remember, do as many old papers as you can find in the time allowed for the exam. Study is the key even in the last 10 weeks it is not too late it is never too late just relax & it will seem easier.
Every one gets through it it just seems like the end of the world but it is just the begining. |
