You sound to me like you're either an American or Canadian clown who wishes he were either Irish or Scots(not Scottish).Tough luck mate, you were just born in the wrong place and no amount of wearing kilts and playing penny whistles is going to change the fact that you are a North American and not what you wanabee.Your sort is a bit sad and pathetic. |

You could be Irish, Scottish or indeed from any other country in Northern Europe, as red hair is not exclusive to either Ireland or Scotland.
A tip: what are the family names of your ancestors? Once you know those, then you can guess what country or countries your ancestors came from. |

People ... this person is a troll. He's previously asked this exact same question twice in the past few days:

check a geneology website and input your father's name and your mother's maiden name. Each side could end up with a different nationality. |

Red hair is not a particularly Irish or Scottish trait. It is found in countries that had a Viking invasion.
I don't think any of the other things you describe have anything to do with your ancestry. |

bibi

well i think you sound Scottish, but why would frogs and violins help in this quest to find out your true heritage?
I think you need a pot of high moisture eye cream, some wax strips and whitening toothpaste.
Can you not just ask your granny? |

you r an american,probably a red indian |

Clearly you are Welsh. You can confirm this fact by either asking your parents or by checking your birth certificate. |

Red hair does not make you either. Most of the Scots and Irish who DO have these features have Viking ancestry. Also, there are more red-heads in Germany than anywhere I've been. |

You sound Scottish to me. I don't know many red headed irish people. Mind... I don't know many Irish people full stop lol |

Possibly Irish. I'm 100% Irish, red hair & freckles, and I have a loud voice (but not the loudest in my family). I have no bump on my nose, but my red-headed sister does. You could be Nordic. My cousins 50% Irish 50% Swedish have red hair, but no freckles. I still think your Irish. Hope this helps!! |
