Irish or Scottish, Thick Lips?

I have thick lips and proud of it. My roots are from Irish or Scottish or both.

Which group of people are known to have thick lips (both lips),
Irish or Scottish?

By the way, I don't want rude answers.

I am 100% Irish, and I do not have thick lips (I have average, but wish I had bigger), nor does anyone in my family. You might have some other nationality (you don't know of), which is giving you those lips, since the Iirsh and Scots do not usually have bigger than average lips.

jesus christ, thank god for americans to give us all a laugh.

Viva La Eire!
i have thick lips (or full as i like to call them!) and i am Irish but i don't think it is typical of the region, people all over the world have them, not just the Irish or Scottish!!

Niamh
My mom is Irish and my dad is a Scott. All i know is my dad often said he would give me a thick lip when i played up as a child and my mom often said she would give him a thick lip if he tried.I can only deduce from this that thay both had thick lips that they were willing to give away.

I'm Scottish and have average lips, maybe slightly on the thick side. Not much use for playing the flute with i'm afraid. Kind of odd question!!!

I am Scottish and my lips are thin my husband is Irish and his are pouty.my children take their looks of their father.very dark hair. and roman noses, pouty lips, a lot of the Irish traits.I think it had a lot to do with the Spanish Invading Ireland.

"By the way, I don't want rude answers."

Don't ask stupid questions then!

I've already told you before that your questionss are akin to racial stereotyping & if I am honest I find them offensive, and before you say anything I am Scottish. I was born in Scotland & will die here. Can you say the same?

kez
I dont know mine are rather thick too and imscottish with irish ancestory ,maybe its amix of both

ignore the thick lips part of your question...with a name like Garrett you are Irish!

rachel
don't think it's a question of lips...
it's more important maybe your hair colour...

lips are not a distinctive feature...
