I am living in Ballybofey Co Donegal originally from Midleton. Co Cork. Well Cork has much more to offer. Donegal is rather a quiet county compared to lively Cork.

Yup! I'm Irish! My family is from Raphoe in Donegal!

Hello xxx,
I will tell you honestly and truly, Donegal is very nice if you like wind, rain and hilly countryside, I like the county, and a few of my sports jackets were made there as were a couple of my sweaters too, as for Donegal sports, well that County isn't all bad, and sports in Donegal, can be entertaining, if you like good honest comedy without all the excitement of the game being played before you.
Galway, now, this is a County with more than just alcohol and Hurling to offer, football, 2 types here, fishing, all types loch, river, oceanic, and any resturant, will all yeild fish, mostly of your choice, and with or without the chips and condiments. we have Mountains Valleys, and scenery to beat any Country, and us Galwegians have a savvy you wouldn't believe. and everyone has a love for everyone els, unless there is a conflict of characters, which is sonething you will get everywhere in the world. I love my County and my Country too. I am situated at my computer in my study/sitting room, surrounded by books, television, (swtched on) Wife,( on the phone to our Daughter, and waiting for the sun to shine which I am assured will be sometime in January..ha ha ha ha! oh! and another Galway trait is our sense of humour, just as funny as your very own in Donegal. God, Please Bless our Country, and all it's peoples, whichever County they reside in. Bye and Bless you for such a happy question..Tony M
