Is Dunnes Stores going to be taken over by an English company?

My friend said that the store in kerry is to be taken over and be announced next week. Is this the story with all the stores.I heard nothing about it in the papers or anything.
Additional Details
Well it being taken over for defo in Tralee. The staff have been told and everything today. It is so weird. It is not on the on the internet or anything. Maybe it is just that store. But that makes no sense.

Its possible! Anybody remember " Quinnsworth " ?

They made similar denials until they sold out to Tesco. Then despite promises to the contrary 100's of Irish owned business who supplied Quinnsworth for many years and paying their required bribes to do so were forced to close down and 1000's of workers in Ireland were left unemployed and destitute.

After Tesco switched to using English vendors for goods and services.

I hope history does not repeat itself however the Dunne family have always been about making money first.

dollymix (now geeky for a month)
I wouldn't say so. It would be plastered all over the papers and news if it was.

EDIT: I believe you about the one in Tralee, but they wouoldn't take over all the Dunnes Sores in Ireland. Ha I remember Quinnsworth! I still call Tesco Quinnsworth actually...
