Is Ireland a good honeymoon destination?

I am of Irish decent and my fiance' is very interested in it it (it's cute he loves everything Irish now even though he isn't). I also have never traveled out of the country.

Yes, definitely...I was there for four months in the fall, and it would be perfect. The country is so beautiful and peaceful, just driving 5 minutes outside a city or village will make you two feel like you are the only two in the country. Visit Connemara, the Gap of Dunlow, and the Cliffs of Moher, which are only three of the many gorgeous places in the country.

Go during the winter when it's sure to rain then you can snuggle up in a cosy little hotel.
