Yes, I think it is and I know this because I am living there(: There are two sides to Ireland. The rural side and the city side. If you would like to live in a city Dublin or Cork are both great places to live(I have lived in Dublin and my aunties live in both Cork and Dublin) Rural Ireland is very beautiful. The people are lovely and life is much less hectic than in cities. It really depends on what you hope to get from Ireland but I'm sure you'd love it if you moved here because I'm happpeeee here(:-Ox

I lived and worked in Ireland for a while and absolutely loved it. I lived in Dublin, had a fantastic job, a great flat, and was able to enjoy the city to its fullest. It's a great place to live. Most people are very friendly, there's tons to do, and the wages are decent (relative to the states where I am now). It's a bit expensive and they are in a recession at the moment so finding a job may be difficult, however, if you think you can find a decent job then I say go ahead and move. I'm definitely thinking about moving back in the future.

So funny to find this question. I googled exactly "is ireland a good place to live?" and funny to find this post that was just put up about 8 hours ago. I am considering moving and was thinking Ireland might be a good place. I am going to do further research on it!

hell no. Ireland is possibly the worst country in europe. try and live somewhere with more intelligent inhabitants, like the Kalihari desert for example or the moon. the people here, and I cannot stress this enough, stink. I mean you can actually taste the stink off them. why did'nt Hitler iniciate Operation Green?
