Okay sweetie, get out your map of Europe. You know, the bit of the world to the right of America. Now, take your finger and point to the part that's shaped like a high-heeled boot. Got it? Well done. Now, draw a line away from the boot to the left, until you get to the edge of the square shaped place (which is 'Spain' and 'Portugal'). Now draw a line up from that point until you reach a small raggedy little island that looks like a Scottie dog balancing on it's tail/hind legs. Can you find it? Huh? Well, aren't you clever! Now that is called Ireland. Say it - eyer-land. See how they aren't close together at all? Yeah? Wonderful!

Yes, and they are both next to Iraq. All the "I" countries are located together. |

Of course it is! can you not tell by our sallow skin, wonderful sense of fashion and our penchant for driving round in Vespas which match our attire? Momma Mia!!
Sure didn't aload of us end up (and sorry I'm going to make a big assumption here) in your country because of that terrible pasta famine?!
Viva la Irlanda!

No if we were we would enjoy the wine, the sun and a warmer sea.
We are next to the United Kingdom / Britian so beer, not great weather and not the ideal sea condition is the norm.
We are not moving as we are used to it. |

Ya know, if you just enter "Europe, map" in the search bar, you can look for yourself. Worldatlas.com is a great site and you can find maps of anyplace in the world there...be a good idea to save that site for future use. |

no. Ireland is an island near England and Scotland. Italy is further east, near the southern center of Europe. |

No - if it were there would be a lot less rain.
Please buy a globe. They are shiny, colorful and round - like a ball. You'll like it. |

no. but i heard a tale of olden times when a group of roman legionnaries en route to Britannia were cast ashore in Hibernia(ireland)during a wild atlantic storm.them that survived the stormy seas and the savage hostile natives of Hibernia, some of whom skinned alive their captives, went on to live in a small settlement, later to become a village, then a town, later still a city,in ireland.so, as little known as it is,some irish are decendants of them romans legionnaries.maybe some irish are decendants of caeser himself.after 2000 years how can we tell?the history we are thought is not always the truth.the victor writes the tale, the vanquished is often forgotten.so it is with this. |
