Northern Ireland is a country in it's own right. It's part of the UK (which is very different to being 'ruled by' or 'owned') but it has a devolved government and self-determination where the people will decide weather NI will be independent, continue to be part of the the UK or join the Republic of Ireland. |

It's definatly an shifty area.
Northan Ireland is ruled mainly by Britain and is part of Britain. It's rarely seen as it's own country International afares it more likely to known as part of Britain but yes it is in it's own right a country. |
