I Understand what you mean, We are getting cheated, people only follow the main two parties because that is what everyone else is doing, and because they're no other options for us.
Its time for a change, Im not waiting around and as soon as I finish school Im off to America, its so much more positive on life while we all are still stuck in the past. We need to Forgive and move on, make this place a brighter place to live.
Maybe this idea could motivate you to become an influence and do something? (: |

The problem is the people of the North threw the baby out with the bathwater when they accepted the Good Friday Agreement and their own form of self-governance.
Instead of voting for moderates such as the SDLP, Alliance and UUP they've instead put the lunatics in charge of the asylum by voting for extremists such as Adams, Paisley, McGuinness and Paisley Jnr.
It was parties such as the SDLP through gentlemen like John Hume and Seamus Mallon who believed in the ballot box over the armalite who are now suffering. And you have fellas who were in the IRA who now fancy themselves as 'sensitive' playwrights and novelists who are running the show. |

Yeah all them should be sacked, and we should start being run by people other than the political partys, or else we should be run like england is, or just re-join the republic. I dont care what they do, as long as the troubles dont start again. Whilst i was typing this answer i felt like crying because the place is so messed up. |

They clearly aren't spending enough on education in your area because your spelling and grammar are a disgrace.
But yes, to answer your question, I do think it is a disgrace that we have republican terrorists in power. It should never happened and I certainly would never have voted for them.
With respect to Ian Paisley - Are you not aware that he has retired, quite a while back? (By the way his name is Ian, not Ivan like you stated above)
Peter Robinson is now in power and as far as I am aware he is involved in no terrorist organization and has killed no one.
You clearly no nothing of what you are talking, so get back in your box. |

I find it hard to accept that those prominent politicians really believe the twaddle they preach - and that rational people swallow it and keep them in power. North and south, nepotism stifles any progress. The sons who get government jobs because they 'inherited' them or because dad can pull strings, feel entitled to those positions. I suspect they have become accustomed to the very high salary and want to keep it confined within their own household. I think we could all do with fresh blood and new ideas. If I were the job-master with a vacancy to fill, the politician's son would not be considered over the other candidates, as the automatic choice.
The sash-and-bowler-hatted marchers look exactly what they are - closed minded individuals full of their own self-importance, and we'd better believe it. Stuck in a time warp. The rest of the world can laugh at the quaint old-fashionedness of it all, so far distant from 21st century. It's frightening to think that's what's in power, making decisions for the rest of us. |

Well, everyone in the North has the choice to vote SDLP instead of Sinn Féin or UUP instead of DUP.
Its upto the people in the North to kick their backsides. |

Stuck in a dead end? Probably. But everyone here seems happy as long as we don't return to violence. A 'normal' Northern Irish government will never be possible.
Even minor issues will always come down to an "us versus them" scenario. Unionists/Loyalists won't want to give too much away to Republicans/Nationalists in case it leads to closer ties with the RoI. The reverse is true, in case it commits us permanently to the union with Great Britain.
In many ways the SDLP/UUP created this, and SF/DUP rolled in to reap the 'benefits' after years of mud slinging from the sidelines. Its not fair, but we have to live with it. Its better than the bombs n' bullets of the old days.
As for those sanctimonious Shinner-bashers; the south would do well to remember that their heros in their war of independence were considered 'terrorists', and the north would do well to remember that the DUP have some dodgey links also...try googling "Peter Robinson Clontibret" for a laugh, or check these out;

Probably not, meaning wise up, and do anything about them. Due to the true fact, it sounds like, that the people you have named. Are members themselves of the secret society, have the society backing them, and believe you me. They are a very powerful lot, and they are every where world wide. Stay on your toes and watch your six, since you have literally named afew. |
