I'm going to Dublin next week and I'm staying near O'Connel Street. I would like to know how can I get from there to St. Stephens Green Shopping Centre? Can I go walking? Is it too far ...
Yes. Grafton street on the south side has all the posh boutiques, Henry St on the northside is a more typical high street, and has the Ilac and Jervis shopping centres as well. They are within ten mins of each other. Then you can take a tram to the Dundrum shopping centre for all the really posh shops, although I think its totally overrated and full of knobends.
Northside is definitely the best.
