Is galway a good destination for a stag weekend? (30 year old men)?

I'm organising a weekend away for a stag. I've heard rave reviews about galway. I went on one to dublin a few years back and it was rubbish. The pubs and clubs wouldnt let groups of men in etc

I have never been but my husband was there two weeks ago and said it was very expensive - worked out to £5 a pint! Have fun wherever you go!

Noplace in Ireland will let in groups of men, so if you really want to go, go in in twos and threes.

Great place but might be hard to get in places in big groups. Sa,e everywhere in Ireland as far as I know. **** head bouncers on power trips.

Galway is a gret city- really laid back, and it does show a great side of Ireland.
It is a student city with a lot of young people so it'll be great craic.
It isn't as expensive as Dublin which is always good!
Have fun!!

Ok so Galway seems to be most Irish people's favourite city. Its a city near the sea, with great pubs and restaurants. Its very popular for Hen Nights, so I would recommend it. I live at the other side of Ireland though, Kilkenny, I only get to Galway about twice a year.
