Its illegal in the eyes of the guards but not a class A drug and it is used a lot over here.
Its easy to find, just ask the local mob hanging around the streets allys or even students.
You will be safe carrying around a small quantity. If the cops search you, they will just take it off you and give you a warning (they probably smoke it themselves)
I went to Slayer a few months ago and got a joint taken off me when I was searched. Your man told me that I could smoke it outside the venue but not inside!!! I took it back off him and got stoned and then went inside!!!
Just don't do it in public.. there are a few anti-drugs people that spoil the fun!
I only smoke a bit of marijuana, and sorry I meant to say anti-weed folk instead of anti-drugs!

It's not legal. The Gardai (Police) are not particularly tolerant if you must use ---- take care -- and by all means stay off the roads -- the Guards will GETYA.

Cannabis was reclassified from a class B drug to a class C drug. You will not be arrested for possession of small (no idea what the limit is) amounts but it will be confiscated and an on the spot fine could be issued. However buying, smoking and selling cannabis is still illegal in every country/city including Ireland with the exception of Amsterdam.

Yes it is illegal to be in possession of this drug. I'm not sure about the penalties if you are caught with a small quantity for your own use, but they would be quiet similar to the penalties you would find in most western countries. If you're dealing, however....

Since you enjoy the occasional spliff, you should recognise immediately, anyone who smokes. Drugs are very easy to find in Ireland.

I won't bother taking the moral high ground on this one. I'm neither condoning or condemning their usage.

Yes it's illegal! I could be wrong but I don't think it's as easy to get hold of as in the England. If you meet the right people though, I expect you'll track some down

Why would someone want to go to another country to smoke something that destroys you. marijuana is a drug that when used to of tern it mashes up the brain with nervous breakdown,heart disease,bad breath loss of memory bad looking teeth.it can be a healthy medication when used in the proper way but when overdosed cause you to end up in the mental *** ilium.it is used for asthma aids and cancer.

Marijuana is illegal in Ireland. I don't know how easy it is to find. Because it's illegal, it's highly likely you'll be sold expensive kitchen herbs instead.

Actually it's illegal throughout Europe, only barely tolerated in some countries because it's considered less dangerous than heroine, cocaine and XTC.
