They are magical!
On my honeymoon, I was in a small bar in Southern Italy.
A group of 12-15 business travelers from Ireland walked into the Italian bar. They greeted my husband and I openly and when they
realized we were there on our honeymoon they asked the bartender to lower the music in the bar so that they could give us(my husband & I) an Irish Toast!
The bartender lowered the music and one Irish man repeated an
Irish blessing/poem or such. The other 15 men then locked arms and formed a Circle around my husband and I. They surrounded us in dance and song and belted out an Irish Jig/Dance. This was straight out of the movies!!!!!! Very funny.
My husband who never dances suddenly became Irish for an evening. It was absolutely amazing, and we will never forget them! They are wonderful people! |

Yep, we are. There's nothing like irish pubs, I love it when the singing sessions start. We are not a bunch of raving alcoholics, we just like to have a drink with friends and enjoy ourselves, have a good time if you do come over. |

The Irish are a very happy people, but they are serious about some things. They like to take it easy...and of course throw back a pint of Guinness or two. But they are friendly and very easy to get along with. Night life in the pubs is the best, especially in towns like Dublin, Cork, Limerick....some of the smaller towns have some spectacular pubs and entertainment as well. |
