Is there any metal/rock gigs coming up in Munster, Ireland anytime soon?

They don't have to be famous or anything.

Go to the Cruiscín Lán in Douglas Street, Cork. They usually have some good tribute/rock/metal bands playing there. We were at a Lizzy tribute gig there last night. (Incognito of course!)
Also try Fred Zeppelin's on Parliament Bridge, it's not far from the CruiscĂn.
