Most people need their cars, and with us maybe renting it out to you, if you speed or get a ticket etc, its on the person who owns the car's head. So very little chance of you scoring in that way. There is plenty of car rental's in Shannon Airport though, and depending on the type of car etc, you should get a good deal. There's also a car rental in Limerick City 20 mins from Shannon called "enterprise cars", www.enterprisecars.com, they will be able to help you.
