No reptiles in Ireland. St. Patrick banished them all, snakes, lizards the lot. But there are a few 2 legged ones trawling the lounges around Dublin. Beware they bite.

Not really, no.

I've only seen a lizard (Common Lizard) twice, in my life, in Ireland. And the first time it was in the Knockmealdown mountains - he was basking on a rock on a warm summer's day. July, August are probably the best time to see one and they'll only be out and about if the sun is shining. Look at the rocks.

There are lizards, but you'd be very lucky to see one. No geckos though.

There should be no gekkos. You might find a lizard but it's very doubtful. In my entire life here I have only seen 1 lizard. I didn't think there were any until I saw that one and looked it up. It's just known as the common lizard and tends to be in the Burren more than anywhere else.
