Yes there most certainly is...

Now let me ask you a question...

Why are you being so racist?

As you are certainly not familiar with intelligence, you wouldn't recognise him if you saw one.

Of course! In fact, Irish people are in general a lot more intelligent than English people- better education. And there are lots of Irish writers and scientists. They just laugh at the reputation of stupidity.

I can't believe that some people can take the stereotypical image so seriously... I remember this little English girl following me about on holiday years ago asking ''Awr you Irish? My daddy says the Irish awr stupid! Do you believe in leprechauns?'' -and I am not even Irish! I kept her going though and put on an accent and said ''Oh aye, there's a whole wee colony of them in me back garden''

emjay1212001
Why don't you come over here and find out? I and many of my friends would be happy to meet you off the plane....No wot I meeenn....By the way, there are countless intelligent Englishmen/women, but your not one of them.

Nneave
I'm English with an Irish mother and she always used to tell me this.

The Irish like the English to think they are stupid, they spend so much time laughing at us they miss the joke. The English.

Crowkit
I do wish they wouldnt let children like you have unsupervised access to the internet. Go away do some growing up, then and only then come back on line, your parents must be so proud of you

d_oc22
if it wasnt for the irish bards travelling europe and teaching you wouldn't have the skills to read your screen

animalmother
Cause they ain't upity like you hoser

James Joyce was one, and my grandfather was another!

Of course there are intelligent Irishmen & I think this is one of the most insulting questions I have ever read.
The stupidest people are the ones who always believe all the stereotypical rubbish they hear. And you do believe it don't you?

xxxamgxxx
yeah we all are intelligent but sometimes we don't act it !!!
your good friend PADDY !!!

I never met an Irishman who claimed to be intelligent. But I met quite a few who were smart enough to look stupid while they took over the world.

dontdoweekends
Did you hear about the Irishman that was teaching his dog to pee in the gutter? He fell off the roof and broke his neck !

I wish people like crowkit would go elsewhere. They resent other people expressing their thoughts because they are incapable of doing so themselves.

The rule is, answer the question or keep moving brother.

I expect he's one of those poor inadequate religious bigots.
