Yes, that looks like Inish Mor on the Aran Islands. Dun Aonghusa is the fort, I do believe.

Oh it exists alright, but some of the footage is very old. Also, Ireland is not really like that in general, we have cities and towns just like everywhere else, there is a lot of rural areas but they are becoming more and more built up and in time will decrease rapidly. And no one I have ever known uses donkeys as a means of transport, just cars...

I love the Aran Islands, Galway and also Clare, beautiful scenery and smashing people, but you can't beat Ahillies on the Beara peninsula, a place of total tranquility.

def NOT the aran islands... its in Leinster. Its a famous archaeologist dream sight that the gov't is trying to destroy to build a highway
