It's always the quiet ones isn't it? I thought actually he was intent on world domination, that he was actually an evil genius lulling us into a false sense of security with his lovely sisters & sloppy ballads before lauching a coup when we least expected it.

Dead Zone
I really don't know, it's such a bizarre thing for him to come out with, I've never really thought of him as anything more than the background man to his sisters, but now he's jumped into the political arena with some pretty radical statements...

I guess he's expressing his opinion and that's gotta be a good thing, since he appears to have been a mute for the past 10 years or so. Um...fair play to him I guess...

Well fair plays to him for publicly expressing his opinions and by the sounds of it, he really did his homework into this and researched well into it. I don't think for one minute that he is bonkers, although I do agree that there has not been sight nor sound of him for the last decade, and then all of a sudden he appears on the front page of the Irish Star, but Jim Corr is not known as a celebrity but rather as a musician so this is not a cry-for-attention type thing that normal z-celebrities do. I applaud him for having the guts for saying what he thinks, and he made it clear that he is not a conspiracy theorist. But I applaud him more for for his stance on the Lisbon Treaty, which I agree with him on that.
Its easy to categorize someone into the conspiracy group when they come out with a statement like that, but like him, I did research into it ages ago and came up with the same results. I think the man is talking sense...but most people are going to end up calling it nonsense anyway.

Misty Blue
I'm in total agreement with him and he's not just spouting off.He looked at it in depth over a long time before coming out publicly with his opinion.Probably knowing full well he'd get the 'who does he think he is?' brigade after him so he had to know what he's talking about.
One further point on the Lisbon treaty while I'm here.I'm sure Ireland is the envy of Europe as we are the only ones being afforded a referendum on such a serious issue.Vote 'YES' and you can kiss that unique right to referendum goodbye forever, ironically.Who said our freedom's would not be eroded?Pfft!
