I don't know, maybe you're a bit too caught up in your appearance and they think you're superficial? Keep trying, they'll come around eventually.

Podge and Rodge Tribute Band
Sher we've never heard of hollister, abercrombie, juicy couture and aeropostale. Are they some class of clothes?
We know Jesus had 12 aeropstales but we're not sure if we wore them....
Anyway, don't try too much. Ya see, the people at your school might be a bit in awe of your 'cosmopolitan' ways.
Buy some stuff in Pennys as well. You'll fit in better with Primark.

well i have friends that dress like you say you do with makeup abercrombie and loads of people in my school straighten their hair alot! so thats not the reason anyway! it could be because the people in your school have been friends for years and they don't want anyone coming into their group of friends! but im sure you will make loads of new friends! just keep being friendly but not so much that they feel that you are in there face all the time annoying them! its always hard to start at a new school but it will get better! hope this helps you!

just be yourself, we irish are a fickle bunch, its just that you are new i suspect rather than your extremely great taste in fashion. i bet that if you give it time, give as good as you get you will be little miss popular fairly soon. don't worry about it, and if things don't change well then it is very simple, they are just plain jealous. hold your head high

Because You cant Buy Hollister and AndF in Ireland, the irish Teens Kind of think its exclusive and expensive..So they they probably associate it with wealthy People who like to show off there money(who are complete Knobs!)So myt be a little intimidated?maybe they Dont realise its common for americans to wear it.Is your new area Rural? Most places in Ireland are swarming with these Brands Now..Maybe throw on a potato sack if so Girl :)

Hey...i know where you are coming from...i have moved back and forth between ireland and the us for my entire life... i know how tough it is moving to ireland and being out of my element...i went to secondary school over there...and yes i did straighten my hair but i was more of a coach girl...just be friendly....i lost my need for name brands when i live over there.... i am not trying to say change your self but see how they live and see what you like about them! I tried the whole be the new outgoing girl....but that always seemed to look like the rude american girl....and it intimidated other people from talking to me....ps where did you find a place to get your nalis done in ireland...any questions you have you can e-mail me=D
