Happy Saint Paddy's day to you! I'm born bred and raised in Donegal all my life, and I lurrrrrrve Paddy's day. ( It's My birthday weekend too)
This year i'm going to go out 4 nights in a row and visiting different counties for each one (Galway, West Meath, Donegal, Derry) and i'm going to try and speak as much Gaelige as possible- while enjoying the drink and craic with mo chairde.
So how will you be celebrating?

I am going out in Dublin. Decided to make a day of it, so will start around 3pm on the Saturday, Sunday in the pub too, and the day itself, well of course I'll have to look at the parade, see all the children dressed up, and generally have a laugh.

Four nights in a row!!! You'll probably lose your liver somewhere between Westmeath and Donegal.
I shall be sulking for Patricks day. I always do because my birthday is the 15th but no one ever wnts to go out cause they are keeping they're money for the 17th and afterwards they have no money and are too hungover. Patricks day really takes the shine off international jk day. |

Well, first of all, la breithe shona duit, you lucky devil, having it paddy's weekend, must feel like the whole world is celebrating with you, how cool is that.
I'll give your attempt at speaking Gaeilge an hour after the hard stuff, God only knows what you'll be speaking then, Swahili probably but good on ya, it should be a great laugh.
I'm bringing kids to march in parade with their prospective Scouts and Soccer teams - sure weren't we all there, then mozzie on down to the local for a few jars, ya know yerself.
Hope the weather holds, for the parade at least.
