As far as i know, you will have no problems, there is nothing stopping you from coming on over.
I'm an English citizen, but have been living in Ireland *almost* my whole life.
One thing you need to consider when moving here is the price of renting/buying a house, its ridiculously expensive right now, even more so in Dublin.
There is also a shortage of decent employment.
Everything here is over priced.
But saying that, its beautiful, people are friendly, and you can have alot of fun living here.
As of yesterday, we are having a bit of a stormy time here in the south ( i like that little "sunny Ireland" oxymoron though). |

hey there
There are absolutely no immigration laws in force with regard to moving from uk to ireland.
no worries on gettin pps number ( tax nmber)or anything, once you move, all you need to get pps number is an address, can even be a hostel; id verification.
north of ireland weather much worse than south, bt both very very wet!!!!
good luck mo chara |

As others have said, no problems immigration wise if you are a UK citizen. Sunny? I'm afraid not, it's even wetter than UK that's why it's so much greener. Don't let that put you off though for it, great place nice folk and they know how to feed you. Good luck |

No immigtation problems, the UK is also a member of the EU so you can get off the plane and start working, no problems. |

As far as I know there are no immigration restrictions between Britain and Ireland you can just come here as a British citizen and start living here with other EU counties I don't know. You would have to get a PPS number from a local Social Welfare office so you could open a bank account and get a job which would be fairly easy
P.s. the weather is just as bad if not worse than Britain |

Having grown up in "County Kilburn" half the kids from my class at school (in the 70's) moved back to ireland, my school you were either irish or Jamican, (Jamirish LOL), the weather in Ireland is pretty much the same as rest of UK, spent almost a year in Ballymena cold wet and miserable you could not want for more lol, rained just as much as England.
Might move there myself when I retire for good. (South though not north) |

Of course there are immigration concerns between the two countries, and you would be much better off contacting the Irish Embassy or Consulate to find out what these are.
Sunny Ireland? Oh dear .... |
