I'm writing a paper about one of my ancestors who lived in Listowel, Ireland. I can't seem to find much how life was around 1913. I need to give some possible reasons and a vague description about what life around 1913 may be like in Ireland.

There are some books you should be able to get your hands on or try to look up on JStor if you have access, try Joanna Bourke's Husbandry to Housewifery: Women, Economic Change, and Housework in Ireland, 1890-1914 or Catriona Clear's Social Change and Everyday Life in Ireland, 1850-1922
