Lisbon treaty?

what will you be voting?
i'll definitely be voting no

it'll give the european union a chance to overule our laws, create a federal superstate where ireland will be just a mere province and we will be stripped of our neutrality.

and it's a joke that we're the only euopean union state getting to vote on it,the EU is supposedly a Democracy.
Additional Details
well the european union works well as it is now but it will crumble if the lisbon treaty is passed

Sadly I don't think I can vote(immigrant)

However I don't think Ireland should vote for it.

Good question.

I am not eligible to vote but I would definetly agree with you on voting NO!!!!!! It would affect our agri economy greatly and that takes up most of the economy. (Takes away our vido, i think thats what its called, our right to say to some place to start buying our cattle again if they stop and buy it somewhere else cheaper, its a good thing that vido or vito, dont know how to spell it!)
Basically if we vote yes, we are just throwing away the freedom our ancestors fought and died for us!

arigatou gozai masu!!!
i totally agree with you. even tho i am not a EU member i hope Ireland will say no. I used to live in Europe and from the surface it seems cool and like the idea you can travel anywhere and live anywhere but if that is going to strip each members' states of their sovereignty they hell no!

I will be voting HELL NO!

Lyn
Unfortunatelt being 17 i can not vote but am urging all to vote NO! It's extremely annoying that i'm unable to vote! Our republic is not even 100 years old yet and we are destroying the freedom that we fought so hard to get!
