Shanahan's on Stephen's Green is a good if expensive restaurant. It's an American-style steakhouse and seafood restaurant. Tom Jones says it's his favourite place to eat when he comes to Dublin. Bon appetit and Merry Christmas.

There are plenty in the Temple Bar area near Grafton St. It just depends on the type you are looking for. The Boxty House is good, I ate there twice in July 06.
