I would recommend The Morgan, situated in the heart of the exciting city center, in the Temple Bar area. Here is the link: http://www.themorgan.com/

True, there are probably more luxurious hotels, like the Shelbourne, but this one has my recommendation. Prices on average are about 200-350 a night, depending on the kind of room. Don't know what the prices of suites are.

There is a 5-star hotel (I forget the name) on Nassau Street (spelling?) in the heart of Dublin between the US Embassy and Trinity College. I stayed there while I visited Ireland. It is within walking distance of the shopping district, and several pubs.

Have fun!

The most luxurious would be:

The Merrion
The Dylan
The Shelbourne
The Westin
Browne's Hotel
La Stampa
The Clarence
Buswell's
Fitzsimon's

None of them are cheap though!! Even the lower-end hotels in Dublin are expensive!

Why luxury it's expensive enough as it is. I've stayed there a few times and would recommend the following hotels ;

Blooms - Centre of Temple Bar bit noisy does a good breakfast but close to all the action and the kebab shop!
Cassidys - In centre but on the "shopping" side great breakfast and quiet hotel.

Bono has a hotel there called The Clarence that's right on the river and looks very nice but not stayed there. Have a great time where ever you stay.
