Oh I think Killarney in Kerry is great. You will get to meet a great mix from different county's and country s and it is mad crack.
Its a town so you will find it easy to get around and see the sites. Great mountain walks too if you need a break from partying.
I worked with Canadians killarney. Ye are very nice and have Avril Lavigne too, she rocks.
Enjoy your trip where ever you decide to go.
Good Luck.

Personally i think Galway City but then again it is a city. If you want rural Ireland then i would recommend Ballinskelligs, Co.Kerry. It only comes alive at the weekend though.

i think you cant go wrong with galway and dublin, theyre definately the 2 best.
but im assuming since your coming from canada that youll be here for 1-2 weeks anyway so you should have loads of time to travel all over here and spend a few days in a few places

Hmm, personally, I think Galway is brilliant, although it is a bit far removed from the rest of the cities in Ireland. You can't go far wrong with Dublin. Belfast is damned good as well, although I am a bit biased since I live here!
But if you're coming to Ireland, it's a pretty small country, so I would suggest trying to visit as many as you can!

Monaghan lol!!
It's where I live and it's kinda boring but I love it :D
I think it's actually the film capital of Ireland though and there's a blues festival once a year.
