Moving To Ireland?

I love the Irish and the sound of Ireland so much, I have decided, I’m going to move there in a few years or so, after I get some money together,

Any way, what I want to no be, where in Ireland should I move to?

I was hoping for 1 of them small villages that have nothing more then a pub, a few houses, and a post office. Is there any thing like that in Ireland, if so, give details.
Additional Details
I would Prefer south Ireland,

Heya aw thanx, im from dublin but now livin 50 miles north, in a place called Drogheda, which is a great location that is rapidly growing and becoming more popular, check out sullivan.ie and daft.ie to find out which would suit you best. :) Good luck

Try Bray in Co. Wicklow, it is near Dublin (30 mins), beside the sea, and about 20 min drive to the mountains. Look here for a sample of beauty
www.powerscourt.ie
Powerscourt is in Enniskerry which is smaller than Bray or try Greystones again smaller than bray but beautiful
and of course all people are nice - like me

move to cork.its a lovely part of the country and the city is really great for shopping.it has all the best shops in such a small area.there are loads of small villages like you described.there are alot around a town called macroom.i can't think of the name right now but there is a village like the one you just described between macroom and another town called millstreet.it just has a church and post office and i think it has a tiny pub but i'm not sure but that's only one.there are plenty in cork but i would come over to ireland for a week or 2,rent a car and check a out a few counties.good luck

Move down to Valencia Island, County Kerry. Although it is an island there is a bridge at one end and a small passenger ferry (a small boat ) at the other - Cahirciveen end. It is a beautiful place and the people are the friendliest in the world. There are some shops on the island with quite good shopping in Cahirciveen. It never gets packed, even in high summer. Somewhere to live would not be too expensive as in many other areas close to the large cities................

r you mad cant wate to get out

try looking for a place in County Wicklow; there are still lots of small villages there which are close enough to Dublin for you not to feel completely isolated, yet far enough away so that you get that country feeling :-)

would you be looking to move to the north or south ireland?

Tip - don't call it 'South Ireland' when you are here.

The name of the country is 'Ireland'. You could use 'the Republic' or 'The Republic of Ireland', but please do not say 'South Ireland' or 'Southern Ireland'.

There are lots of places like you describe, but they don't tend to have lots of available work in them. Unless you're a millionaire, you will need to work. This is an expensive place.
See www.daft.ie for accommodation prices.

There are some nice places around Sligo
