Hi there,
You are making a major decision and shouldnt rush into it lightly. Ireland will have changed majorly in the past 22 years, plus we are now heading towards a recession, so you may want to defer your move for a few months to see how it goes over here.
For information about getting things like a social welfare number (PPS/National Insurance/Social Security Number) theres a great Website with impartial advice from the Citizens Advice here :
http://www.citizensinformation.ie/categories
They also have a section about specifically moving to Ireland :
http://www.citizensinformation.ie/categories/moving-country/moving-to-ireland
Other places of interest :
http://www.citizensinformationboard.ie/
http://www.welfare.ie/
http://www.movetoireland.com/
http://www.irishlinks.co.uk/
Hope these help :o) |
