it depends some people move to dublin and others hate it, i moved from my home county n ireland to dublin and hated it, i thought it was unfriendly, too busy, cant say expensive as i thought it wasnt anymore expensive than where im from, but the cost of living in ireland at the moment is a joke, but in saying that i would not llike to live anywhere else either i love my country and if you move to right place ireland is a great place to live |

it can be quite expensive, but really only uif you are hanging out in the temple bar area which is a clear tourist trap and is wildly expensive. living in ireland is veery enjoyable, but if city life is not for oyu perhaps living a little outside of dublin would be best. do your research, there are enough websites now which show all points of view. im sure you will enjoy it.
also dublin as a whole is safe in my opinion, however lookout for teenagers who get bored. theft and petty crime can get high. best of luck! |

If you're looking to study and work a job then Dublins a great place. Rent is really expensive though if you're not living in a dorm or College housing. Depends on what exactly your style of living is, I guess.
I moved to Dublin....still don't know why I moved back to the states :-/ |
