If you are having trouble with the currency itself, you can go to http://www.x-rates.com , on the left hand side click "currency calculator" this little tool will give you the most current exchange rates of any currency. You type the amount in euros, or the currency type then select change "blank" into "blank" and it will tell you in your currency the amount..
If this did not help at all, which it might not be what you are asking for, sorry! |

My husband and I spent 10 days in Ireland just traveling from town to town ... we started in Shannon and drove around the southern portion of the country thru Killarney, Waterford, etc we never stayed in the same hotel we just drove and found a place for the night (get the GPS with the car --- your going to need it!) ... most had specials with dinner and breakfast as well .... Ashford Castle was in the north west portion of the country and was lovely as well as Abby Glenn Castle (near Galway). If you go you will have a wonderful time ... it is the most beautiful country I've every had the pleasure of visiting and hope that someday I will be able to return.
I can't tell you anything about Scotland other than its another country close to Ireland! |

Croke Park, Wicklow Jail and Kilmanen Jail are great things to see.
You could go down to Cork and See the Blarney Stone. The myth is I you kiss it you’ll never shut up!
For the scenery I like the Wicklow mountains.--- > http://www.gsi.ie/NR/rdonlyres/6CC9C746-1FC5-44E3-891E-A71EEDFDE99B/0/sugarloaf.jpg
Also in Wicklow, are the Sugarloaf mountains. They’re very beautiful too.-- > http://www.lookaroundireland.com/counties/wicklow/sugarloaf.htm
In Dublin, The best night life is definitely in Temple Bar.
If you want a relaxing, quiet holiday in the country or enjoy the scenery, then any parts of the country will do it for you really like Donegal, Galway, Clare, Mayo etc.
If you want a shopping, busy, touristy holiday then anywhere (or most places) in Dublin will do it for you.
A town in Kerry (the South of Ireland, It’s beside Cork too) called Tralee is very touristy. It is the largest town in Ireland.
It has many attractions and loads of shops and a great night life.
It’s great for young people and people with small families. It suits everyone.
It has an aqua dome swimming pool which is always packed and outside the pool, You can play crazy Golf.

We are leaving today to spend a week in Ireland. We are flying into Shannon, renting a car, then driving through Kerry, cork and are going to fly out of Dublin. I used this website to book my tickits and car rental http://www.saveonbookings.com I was going to book hotels, but I have heard that they have B&B's all over and it is easy to get a place to stay. That site, has everything listed in USD. They also have vacation packages that tour ireland. You can find it all even day passes to museums and such.
For cheaper plane tickits, click on international flight search.
There is a link at the bottom for hotels, it gives different hotels than the link at the hotel, so you have more options. There is also a vacation tab you can click on, thats where you can find packages.
Check it out and have fun if you go! |
