Need a hotel in downtown Dublin?

I'm going to be in Dublin from 7/6-7/20 and need to find a good hotel in a cool area, such as the centre. I tried the Morrison as most people suggested but they are full. Help!
Thanks so much!

The Stephen's Green Hotel is very nice indeed and is in an excellent location, close to the park, shops, and nightlife. The Gaiety Theatre is close by too, if you're going to see Riverdance as many visitors would.

The Westin on College Green is also a great hotel, next door to Trinity College and Temple Bar. So all attractions, shops, pubs etc are close by.

Shame the Morrisson is booked up. It's a really nice hotel.

Enjoy your stay in Dublin!

We stayed at the Clarence in Dublin, right in the middle of Temple Bar (trendy/artsy) district. It was great! Very nice and excellent service!

not a big fan of temple bar, all tourist and no irish, except at night when the crazies come out. the bars are packed with folks looking for the "real irish experiance" and you hear more new york accents there than irish

if you dig hostels try "the brewery hostel" loved it.
