Do LOTS of research on laws (local & national) and politics and boring stuff like that. Get to know the place and how it works before you commit, just because a place is really cool to visit doesn't mean that you are ready for the culture shock of moving there permanently. Visit the area you are interested in a few times for an extended amount of time, make a friend or two there and you may want to find employment before you go...or not...
Welfare there is 184 euros a week? Hmm...better than over here! I'm interested :) |

You would need to be more specific.
We moved about 3 years ago.
It would be good if you can get a job here first and maybe rent somewhere before you decide where you want to settle.
other than that its not much different to moving to say Scotland

You can also buy a plane ticket that says the word "DUBLIN" in the box marked "Destination". Get on the plane. When it stops, get out and whammo... you are now in Ireland, baby! |
