sarch_uk
Yes it's part of Europe...

weezerfan2...you really need to brush up on your geography/history. Ireland is not part of the UK and hasn't been since the early 1920's. Six of the nine counties of Ulster are the only part of Ireland which is still a part of the UK.

MinorThreat
To 'LR' above, Ireland isn't part of Great Britain. It pisses me off when people consider Ireland part of Britain.

Here's a website for you: www.discoverireland.ie.

Ireland is an island off the coast of Europe, but we use the euro as currency.

Hi Dylash 77,
Ireland is indeed part of europe, it is a small island alongside the UK. Ireland is a very proud country that boasts hospitality and friendship as one of it's main exports.

In a matter of fact, it would be considered the home of the 'craic'.

I should know.... I live there..

Ireland is part of the British isles which include England Scotland- wales-northern Ireland-republic of Ireland and includes 5000 small isles. people do not refer to the British isles as part of Europe because they are not psychically connected..
