Yes when you arrive you'll get a text telling you which network your on and how much your calls etc will cost, make sure you have plenty of credit if your gonna use it a lot as texts or calls will be more expensive

it will work but you'll be charged more for calls and texts. check on vodafone.co.uk it should tell you your rates there

It will. free to get texts, but not free to answer calls as you get charged for using the lines.. Not worth using outbound as will cost a lot. to send a text I think you will get an extra 50p on top, but you'll get your text from eircom telling you prices.
