Yes, we have a very old and shabby upright. We used to get it tuned once a year but since my sister moved away (6 years ago) I don't think it has been touched.

greenorlagh
I used to. It was a crap one.

Langer
I live in ireland but i don't own any piano.

Orla C
My mother owns one and it hasn't been tuned in over 20 years.

bluebell
Yes, I have a good piano which keeps its pitch well and consequently needs less tuning than a less expensive piano. I have it tuned every two or three years.

Yes, I had a black upright which was tuned once, It was got with all good intentions but nothing came of it as I am fickle like that and it was used to set the washing on except for when the cat fancied playing it.

It was sold about a year ago.

I have a piano - it's about a 120 years old, we bought it for a 100 pounds ten years ago. It hasn't been tuned in about three years.

Kris......
Live in Ireland, but no to a piano, sorry.

When we were clearing out the family home, no one wanted the family piano, even though my mother spent hundreds on us all having lessons when we were kids. My youngest brother was almost blackmailed into taking it into his home. It has stood in a corner now for 15 years unplayed and untuned.
On reflection, I miss the family gatherings and parties where everyone had a party piece, and the crates of stout and ham sandwiches.

My dad just bought one, he is going to teach himself, hes a music whiz. I reckon he will get it tuned when needs be, hes not going to spend that much money on something to let it go to waste in the corner..

Im just glad I don't live at home anymore..
