Aer Lingus is probably the operator for you to go with. Ryanair doesn't operate to Jersey.

There isn't open ticket available with Aer Lingus, but you could book for your flights and then make changes later. However, please note that there will be charges applicable if you've bought the cheapest fare seats.

It costs €35 per change per passenger per journey although a change of name (which I think will not apply in your case) costs €100. Moreover, if the flight price is higher than what you've paid when you booked, you have to pay the price difference too. However, if the price is cheaper at that time than your original booking, you will not get a refund.

Please note that Aer Lingus has recently started to offer LowFare/ FlexiFare prices on some of the routes. I am not sure if this is available for flights to Jersey. If it is, you could look into buying the FlexiFare ticket, which would then allow you to make changes without incurring extra charges. Moreover, you get free check-in luggage allowance too with the FlexiFare, and this ticket is also refundable in event of cancellation. (http://www.aerlingus.com/i18n/en/htmlPopups/faretype.html#economy )

Of course, the price of FlexiFare ticket is much higher than the LowFare ticket.

Very simple:

www.aerlingus.com
www.ryanair.com
www.britishairways.com

Make sure you have your credit card to hand when booking.

Aerlingus.com have direct flights from Dublin to Jersey.
They have a sale on at the moment, so act quickly, but you will have to confirm exact travelling dates. They will not give you an open ended ticket and once the date is booked it cannot be changed later.

Why When How
