I should be doing something else
Which is it, Ulster or Northern Ireland?

If it is for a crossword as someone suggested below and the question asks for a place in Ulster then the answer probably is NI. It's the only thing I can think of.

the nearest i can think of is a 3 letter. A place called Nad in Donegal

Emily O
I don't know a place in the North with only two letters but perhaps it's the Irish spelling of the place.
Louth is not in Northern Ireland despite what someone else said. It could be NI as in Northern Ireland either.
