Planning a two or four day trip to Ireland. Any suggestions on where to go and what to do?

I am doing a month long school project in England and my friend and I were going to go to Ireland for a couple of days. We just do not know what to do while we are there. We both like historical stuff but also want to do some fun stuff. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, can you please provide a city name with wherever you suggest us to go?

Don't be too ambitious in terms of ground you can cover. Go to Galway and then Kerry and Dingle and enjoy them all.

Here's a terrific guide to the best websites about Ireland Travel.

Come to the Ballydung Bachelor Festival on August 15th.
If you're lookin for a man with a bit of land it's the place to be!

You should definitely visit Kerry. It's 3-4 hours away from Dublin. If you go there, you should drive through Connors Pass and visit Dingle Peninsula. It's some of the most breath-taking scenery you'll ever see. I really recommend it.
