there are no 'postal codes' in Ireland.. Dublin is divided up into area's known as Dublin 1, which is north city centre, Dublin 2 south city centre. The Odd numbers cover the north side and the even numbers, are the south side.
However some place like Skerries are seen as beyond the city zone, so they are just County Dublin.

Dub over here
this is what you write on the envelope

EVA Shaughnessy,
Milverton,
Skerries,
Co, Dublin
Ireland

And it will get there

Orla C
No postal codes in the Republic of Ireland outside of Dublin, and outside of towns/cities there are often no house numbers either.

This is because we are the last truly civilised country in Western Europe, we still actually talk to each other to find out where we need to go.

County Dublin addresses do not have postal codes. They are limited only to the city.

Trish D
There is no postal code. What you have is the full address.

bugger
hey dub over there come back with the sam and no postal codes in ireland baby

www.eircom.ie - check out the phone book might help!

EaterOfTartanColouredSmarties
Skerries is in North County Dublin. The postal code is simply "Co. Dublin". Only Dublin itself is broken into actual postal codes (e.g. Dublin City centre is Dublin 1)

Jane B
Skerries, Co Dublin. Ireland is still small enough outside of Dublin proper to be uncomplicated.
