Reviews of Dublin hotels say it is noisy at night...?
what kind of noise? Are there people yelling in the street? A lot of traffic? Car horns? Can I just wear ear plugs? Additional Details Rodge- Yes, those two seem like they can talk your ear off.
Request a quiet room on a high floor away from the lift and you'll be grand. Temple Bar area hotels are noisier than most, but a set of ear plugs should see you right.

I've heard that all the weird noises were coming from your room. What the heck are you doing over there?

The reviewers were actually staying in the room next to ours that night.
Rodge and myself were 'entertaining' Grainne and SÃle Seoige. They're noisy little things when they get going.

Not sure where you were looking at staying. I work for Marriott and this is one of our properties there. One I'd love to go to!

And I don't think you'd have to worry about noise at this one.

Yes it can be a little noisy at night but it's outside in the streets. It's the same as any city with lots of people and traffic. When you are inside your room in the hotel or B&B or whatever, it is quiet and the only noise you will hear is your TV or radio.

If it is near an area with a lot of clubs/pubs - yes, it will be noisy. Yelling, fights - basic drunk goings on when everything closes for the night. But cities are noisy - just stay away from temple bar and you should be fine. Or stay out all night yourself :)
