Try Daft.ie for rent prices and try Tesco.ie for food prices. Food is cheap in lidl and Clothes in Pennys but if you live in commuter life is pretty shite as public transport is very bad only 20 % of Dublin can use it. You will only find flats in old parts of Dublin and there called Pre -63 as the name is Pre 1963 some have not changed since 1963 try Glasnevin,Lucan or Drumcorda on Daft as the houses are nice and affortable.Try DublinBus.ie for bus routes. |

You'll be ok, but you won't have much fun. Why not look for a different job that pays better. Check out www.irishjobs.ie
It has all the jobs and good information on salary levels |

share a flat in town...you can pay 100 a week, then for clothes you can scrimp/ go to Penney's.....food shop in tesco....and when you go out i find if you get shitfaced before leaving your house you dont need to spend much in the club or bring a bottle of vodka strapped to a garter.
you can be cheap and still have fun!! commuter towns are more for families id say....people who want to live in houses and drive into work in dub.
www.daft.ie youll find a good flat share there
good luck |

You would be alright but not great you might just scrape by, income tax is 20% here, and minimum wage is 8.60€ per hour, thatäs 13.76$ or 6.88 pounds |

You would live very well! That would be a net salary of 2,000 euro a month. Take out 400 a month for a nice room in an 2 bedroom apartment in a commuter town, another 400 a month for food and entertainment... all the rest goes straight into your pockets! |

Why go to Dublin when there are other great places with great opportunities outside of Dublin? Your money would also go further. |
