1.Brian O Driscoll , whether you like rugby or not he has helped increase it's profile not only in Ireland but worldwide and his Lions try is still one of the best!

2. Tom Crean, remarkable Irishman for his time. A Kerry man who ended up being on three of the four major British Antarctic expeditions: .

3. Christy Moore, Irish music is richer for his input.

Bing Crosby was born Harry Lillis Crosby in Tacoma, Washington, on May 3, 1903.

James Cagney — Born: July 17, 1899 New York City, New York

So how come people want to claim Cagney and Crosby as Irish? Both are obviously Americans, possibly of Irish parentage - but still Americans all the same.

it has to be Michael Collins, Jerry Adams and Christy Ring as my favourites because michael collins got us freedom and hes a beast and Jerry |Adams because hes a legend and hes in Sinn Fein and Christy Ring is the greatest hurler who ever lived.
then my least favourites are ian paisley and anyone in the DUP because they are loyalist bastards, Jason McAteer because hes a ******** and a wanker, and i dont hav a 3rd one because every1 in ireland is a legend
