hi you
i dont think it should it still operates with in the island of Ireland and still operate as ireland national airline |

Why should it? Has Belfast left the island of Ireland? |

Belfast is still located on the island of Ireland, some people from Belfast can also speak the Irish language, so it would be silly for Aer Lingus to change, after all, they are still Ireland's National Airline.
Aer Lingus still also has its head office in Dublin too. |

well aer lingus doesn't have an obligation to stay in shannon, whatever makes more profits, there's no obligation anymore as they're not state owned
why should they get into negative profits just to maitain a non-profitable operation and routes just to stay in a ROI airport
and last time i looked at the atlas belfast was on the island of ireland |

No, Irish is still the official language of the Republic but I think it should give up this idea that it's the national airline - it's now a public company which can be owned by anybody |

I'm English but I say keep your Irish heritage, fly the flag whenever you can. Our English heritage is going out of the window, too many do gooders afraid of upsetting other cultures in our country. |

they should set up a third hub in CITY OF DERRY airport.
im sure DERRY CITY COUNCIL would approve.
and considering that deliberations in stormont can be made in Irish why not an Irish greeting for an Irish airline on the island of Ireland. |

They should definitly keep it. Irish heritage goes further out the window each day, you would at least expect the national airline to hold on to it too. Maybe they'll replace the shamrock with a white flag next. Who knows. |

No it shouldn't as Irish is still Ireland's national language - in fact, I'd rather the whole safety demonstration was given in Irish.
The whole Belfast thing was a disgrace - if Aer Lingus want to move their secondary hub to a British city like Belfast, they should move their Dublin operation to Heathrow while they're at it.
The Irish salutation should be retained irrespective of even if one or both the cities involved in the journey is in the UK. |

They should come into the 21st Century and give up the Irish.
There are very few who really understand and it is simply used as a tool to discriminate.
Shocking ariline anyway. |

Yeah give up the krap lingo we speak English in this country and if we are greeted we should be greeted in OUR language which is ENGLISH, Also they should change the colour to a colour we respect like Red or White and Blue. |
