Sshhhh! It's Podge and Rodge |
Should Brian Coward and Brainless Lenihan do their ‘patriotic duty’ ? |
They’re expecting the OAPs to do their 'patriotic duty'. How about those 2 gombeens doing the same?
Is Coward going to take a substantial cut in his salary? This fella gets paid more than George Bush and Gordon Brown!! In a country with just over 4 million people!!
Are they going to stop riding the gravy train otherwise known as ‘expenses’. Their ‘expenses’ are 3 times the average industrial wage!!
Are they going to take a cut in their fat-cat ministerial pensions? What other job would offer a pension after just 3 years service??
Are they going to get rid of their gas guzzling state cars and government jet, which Mary Von Harney once used to go open an off-licence?!!!
Only in Ireland folks!
Additional Details niall d: If it was up to us we'd permanently ground that jet. Sher what do they be doin only going off on junkets! |

Do you know any other country where after 3 years' service you will get a pension - not after you retire, but on top of your wages while you are still in the job? Or more than one pension as well as your pay if you stay there for several terms of office? Or claim expenses grossly in excess of your salary without anyone querying what those expenses are for?
If you or I need an adviser, we have to pay for their services ourselves. So if these government advisers are doing the work, why are we also paying politicians as well? And if we can do without the Dáil between mid May and mid October, and again for extended periods over Christmas and Easter, and the country doesn't come to a standstill, what exactly do we need a government at all for? The civil servants, unelected, for sure, but who are doing the job so well, could continue to do it and we could cut our outgoings by enormous amounts by scrapping the politicians altogether.
Is Brian C going to do the same as Bertie, with a reported NINE salary increases in one year, and not a single blush anywhere?
Does anyone feel a Vote of No Confidence coming soon? |

On the day of the budget the foremost economic brain in the country was quickly doing his sums to see the cost of the budget he was shown live on tv scribbling down the facts and doing the sums, pity he was sitting on the opposite side to brian lenehan
All these auld ones giving out and sure they voted them in.
Basically they had an option and they voted for bertie and his posse, its the people who didnt vote for FF I feel sorry for. The government were told that public spending was out of control the public were told it before the election by the opposition who promised to cut public spending but they decided to put their faith in a man who was before the tribunals for backhanders and the jackasses(FF) who supported him. |

yes,and if they don't we should drag them out to the middle of a field. put them up against a wall. one bullet, bang bang. then sell mary Harney to the eskimos, think off all the blubber you'd get of her.
but jokes aside, we need to get these jerks out, they are going to ruin us, the budget punished us and protected the building fat cats and wankers, sorry i meant to say bankers, and frightened the shite out of my granny and 90% of people over 70. unneeded, they need to be made accountable for their actions |

your right about everything except the government's jet! (more on that)
yeah I read that in the paper and i was very ticked off by his suggestion and even more ticked off by the way it was phrased!
he used the American tactic of telling people to be patriotic!
(as if we would brick ourselves at the mere thought of being ostracised for not loving the country beyond all reason)
shows how far removed he is from the common man if he thought we'd fall for that!
the government jet has been in operation and is nearly always on the move! this has actually saved the taxpayer money with the amount of flights logged on it!
if they were renting planes the bill would have surpassed the price of the jet! |

Us old folk survived the ha'peny on the Twist ,Cud ,
and halfounce of Plug .. we bore the "annnuties" blockade
We hadn't an *** on our trewz and we burned water to hate the tay.
And Fr. Mc's most telling sermon consisted of kicking a wee puppy down the chapel aisle .. we wuz martyrs. partiotic me ***! Oh for the Telegram Boy from the childern in London!
And then we made a bit of pence .. taxed to send the up-coming mohairs to bewilderment .. the baccy tax off the fleeced aulfellas to fill the the comelatelys with subsidised uni. notions.
Gosh imagine votin machines that cant vote ... well we auldfolk can teach patriotism by example. daul brain can vote
surprise! surprise! |
