Should I find lost Irish fling? |
About 3 years ago, I met an Irish guy living in the states. We hit it off right away and starting seeing each other. Spent about 2 weeks hanging out together every day. I don't believe in love at first sight, but I've never felt the way I did with someone so soon as I did with him. He had to go back to Ireland for family reason's and was supposed to come back in 3 weeks. Unfortunately, due to stricter laws on accessing the U.S. he wasn't able to come back to live in the U.S. (I think he was here on an overextended visa) and I never saw him again. He called once and left a message, but that was it. I ran into some of his friends a few months after he left and they said he was living in Dublin. For some reason, I've never been able to get him out of my head and think about him from time to time. I'm actually going to be in Dublin for a few days during a Europe trip. My question is, should I try to look him up to see if he wants to hang out or meet up or just leave it alone? Additional Details What if he's married or in a relationship? I don't want to make anyone mad! |

i'm sure even if he is married or atached, he will still welcome a call from you , and you just never know how things pan out, he could be thinking of you in the same way and missing you too, so why not take the chance? you have absolutely nothing to lose, you may still have a wonderful relationship as friends, and at least he knows my city as well as anyone, so you already have a tour guide...you should add his name and someone may be able to help you find him, Dublin is not as big as you think...whatever happens, you may as well look him up, so I wish you the very best of luck, and if you do hit it off, gimme an invite to the wedding hahahahah, take care and good luck!! |
