A person should go to a mental institution if they are a danger to themselves or others.
I do not know your situation. But that is the basic rule.
If you are not a danger to yourself or others then there is
no reason to be committed.

I'm with gaspipe on this one. You need to clarify the situation. If you murder three small children on the road, and slept with 1000 men for a bet, I think the reaction you got from your mother would have been well deserved, but if you didn't do the dishes properly, she should go to a ward. You need to either speak to your mother, or give us more information. |

I don't think you should. Many people, even people that can be as close to you as your mother, say things they shouldn't say, and things that aren't true. Don't believe every insult you hear, but remember who you really are and that you always will have opportunities for a bright future. |
