So about the Eurovision song for Ireland tonight....?

What do ye all think about Dustin entering it? Some of my pals think its a disgrace whereas some think it is fantastic and are going to vote like crazy for him tonight. What are your opinions on this?

what are you's on about, it being a disgrace. the whole eurovision became a joke a few years ago, when everyone started voting for their neighbouring countries rather than for the songs themselves.

you can predict what countries, all the eastern block will give 12 points to. they are the ones that made it no longer worth watching. I think we should pick dustin to represent us to show that the whole of europe, the competetion rules need changing, regarding the voting system. the only way we could win it anyway, is if we move the country into the middle of Europe or to Eastern Europe, but as we have NO neighbours except the UK, it doesn't matter who represents us.

Without Music U Hav No Lyf...
I think he shud win! Join da bebo band dustin 4 eurovision.

hav u read the lyrics? they are BRILL!!! sooo funi:

Douze Points

O I come from a nation what knows how to write a song
O Europe where o where did it all go wrong?
come On!

Drag acts and bad acts and Terry Wogan's wig
mad acts and sad acts
It was Johnny Logan's gig
Chorus:
Shake your feathers and bop your beak
Shake it to the west and to the east
Wave euro hands and euro feet
Wave them in the air to the turkey beat
Irlande douze points, Irlande douze points, Irlande douze points

It's too long to type out but it's funi.
And yes the Eurovision is a joke!!!!!!

MUSICGUY

I still love the Eurovision, but I think Dustin entering is a joke, its a very funny joke, but only here in Ireland, the rest of Europe will think we've lost the plot all together.

I think we should concentrate on getting good songs back in, and maybe campaign to change the voting system to say 50% public, 50% judges to give countries outside the old Eastern block a chance.

I hope he wins as I love Dustin, I think we'll have a good chance with him (remember Lordi), but I won't be voting as I don't want to spend money.
