Why? used to live there! So what do you want to know.

Raheny is on the north side of Dublin city. Post code Dublin 5. It has a couple of churches, a library several schools and a Dart (train_) station, and lots of shops (oh and a police station). It is near a big park called St. Annes Park and very near the sea and Dollymount Beach.

At the moment the most famous person I can think of from raheny is dublin gaelic footballer ciaran whelan though i don't know him personally http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ciar%C3%A1n_Whelan
